| Patient Empowerment. Health Litteracy. De Zorgverstrekker (of het ziekenfonds) wil de 'Coach' worden van de patient. De Patiënt als Regisseur van de Zorg. De Patiënt staat centraal. Het zijn begrippen die steeds vaker opduiken. Zorgverstrekkers willen de meer mondige patiënt een actievere rol laten spelen in zijn zorg. Men staat klaar om een lovenswaardige bocht te nemen. Maar weten we wel waar we precies naartoe moeten draaien ? Hebben we al genoeg geluisterd naar wat de echte behoeften van de patiënt dan wel zijn ? Klik eens op de video hieronder. Access to information is ubiquitous, information now flows faster than ever before, but information becomes 'stale' faster than ever before. We've had a lot of discourse lately about Big Data, but the essence of Big Data is NOT the volume. Big Data is not just about LARGE datasets of information, in my opinion Big Data is about velocity of information. The biggest shift that we see happening is that information used to be 'contained', but now information has to 'flow'.
